		<description>Jason,
We really enjoyed your article and agree with your point of view. We are in the final stages of development of a Social Sports Project that began 4 years ago. We share with you the belief that we must view ourselves as partners with our members. We believe so strongly in giving before you get that our site is completely free to all members. Our desire is to Unite all people through Sports and communication. This new model is an exciting concept...The content shall be user driven with all the wonderful tools to make the most user friendly experience possible. As you stated what is important is what people want and like...we shall be forever refining the user experience. We are a business and must generate ROI...but we believe if we focus on giving our members(partners) the absolute best experience we shall be provided excellent streams of advertising revenue. This is the perfect combination for everyone.

		<description>Jason
Understand your audience is critical. But the audience may be scattered quite broadly in social media thus hard to reach. However, typically there will be virtual communities where passionates and experts will entertain conversations very relevant to a particular audience(virtual, because they&#039;re not necessarily within the wall of a particular community but connect with each other through social technologies like blog, microblogs..). In those very niche communities, 100s or 1000s of &#039;new opinion leaders&#039;, drive the conversation and they usually aggregate all together a good audience that read their blogs and so on. Finding and nurturing those individuals is a strategy that optimizes scarce marketing resource for best ROI.
