Ellie - it was great meeting you and glad you enjoyed the video. I haven't tweeted the link to Steve yet, because I thought he was going to do a blog post where we all could leave a link to our video.

Adam - Great point. The human piece is the most important of all- no matter how great the tools and platforms are, they're nothing without real people.

Jason- good recap. I agree with all your points. One of the things I found interesting about #IMS09 was how we are all taking human experiences (conversations, interactions, etc) and facilitating them through social media. The best companies in the social media space understand that its a conversation and that social media should be approached that way. The best brands are human in their approach, as noted by some of the presenters at IMS (Southwest, Kodak, etc). So on top of your 3 points, I'd just say "be human" in your approach. Once companies understand that they'll likely maximize their social media value.

Jason, awesome post and awesome video. The medium is the message. Sitting in the audience and watching the exercise gave no clue to how powerful the video of it would be. So cool. Did you tweet it to Steve Garfield?
