2009 has been a breakout year for sports and social media. Athletes, teams, leagues, coaches, media and sponsors have finally started to take note of how social media impacts sports and fans. There have been some really great executions and ideas as well as some missteps.

productdose on hold, life update

Well, my contributions at productdose may be short-lived. My contact there, who was managing editor, has decided to pursue another career path. Plus, I’ve just been way too busy lately with work, working out, and trying to actually find time to hang out with friends. I’m just not having as much time as I’d like to post anything worthwhile on here. I’ll be in Charlotte for some Wachovia Championship stuff tomorrow and Friday, but I’m planning on coming back strong next week with some new content and posts. I would have been there today, but I didn’t feel like showing up MJ and Tiger on the golf course…
